"Up Went Nelson" - The Go Lucky Four Something about the cranberries song sounded familiar. The intro which is repeated in the song sounds very much like a rift in waves by blancmange. Took me years to figure out what it reminded me of And of course that most famous ballad about the Great Famine - The Fields of Athenry.

A truly gripping and emotive song about the bravery shown by the New York firefighters on that devastating day, September 11th, “They kept pounding up the stairs, while we were coming down.” Sung here by Eamonn McGirr and penned by Tom Paxton. A truly classic CD single.
